Default Question re: adapting Honda TPS to Suzuki ITBs

OK, we all know that the Honda TPS will not bolt on to the Suzuki GSXR ITB's.
I have seen the site http://www.homemadeturbo.com but one thing still puzzles me.
How was the Honda TPS recepticle adapted to fit onto the Suzuki shaft?? Was it merely cut off and welded onto the end?? Or was the entire Honda shaft transferred to the Suzuki ITB's? I hope I am being clear enough, it's kind of hard to understand unless you have them in front of you.

Pic 1 is the Suzuki shaft (square ended rod), the Suzuki TPS merely slides onto it.
Pic 2 is the Honda TPS recepticle.

I need to know how to make #2 fit onto #1.

i had a spaer accord tb around and i pulled the butterfly out and pulled the shaft out ...
i ended up with the tps on one side and the other end was just threaded for the throttle rotor ..

from there i just hack sawed through it to the shorth ness you see there ...i did have to grind out the insude of it to fit over the stock gsxr shaft..

itsa hard to explain but very easy to do ..hope that helps ....
if theres any pics of a tb torn down that will help

Thanks, that helps a great deal. I just tore apart an LS TB to get that piece, and everything you said previously, now makes perfect sense.

So, once you got the inside ground out enough, did you secure it somehow to the Gixxer shaft?? Or is it press fit and held on with the TPS sensor?? I just don't want to have the thing come apart at the worst possible time !!!
