Default ATTN: EK/EJ hatchback with B-swap owners...exhaust question!

So i got a B20 on my 98 hatch. I want to run straight piping for awhile. If i pick up a 96-00 Civic hatch Apexi cat-back exhaust, it should bolt right up to my type r dc header without the cat right?

Will the bolt holes on the flanges on type r header and dx hatch exhaust piping match up? Will the bolt holes line up together?

tia

Well, you'll have to get an exhaust for the 96-00 hatch, otherwise the axleback section won't fit. I put a B16 with ITR header in my friend's 98 hatch with a Tanabe exhuast. The flanges are in the right location but the ITR is waaay bigger. You'll have to have the flange hacked off the B-pipe and a bigger one put on. I suggest using a reducer so the flow necks down smoother.

I'm getting an apexi catback for the dx hatch application. I have the usdm dc type r header so the flange is about the same size...my question is did the bolt holes line up together..i know on the header is tilted...
