Default 04 accord v6 sedan premature rear brake wear

I have a 2004 accord V6 w/tcs.I recently went over 25,000 miles.a couple of days ago i had to change the rear brake pads. From my experience with other vehicles the fronts usually wear out before the rears. Both pads on the left and right side were worn fairly evenly. My front pads had about 25% wear on them.I know honda uses organic pads and they tend to be soft but i don't break hard and i have never gotten less than 50,000 miles on any other vehicle i own.I talked to a honda service advisor and he said that this is common. Was he right or is he just blowin smoke.

YOu have 25000 miles on your 2004 accord and you did not take it back to the dealer?

he said he talked to a service advisor, a.k.a. the dealership...

happens to me with my '99.... i brake lightly as well, and my rear pads wear out quicker than my fronts.
