rim question.....!!

Default rim question.....!!

OK heres the deal..I have these rims that came with my car and they are ugly black pearl(spray paint)..was thinking of using paint stripper on them but i'm not sure how it's gonna look after...the rim is made of alloy..was tryin NOT to have to polish at all!!!!! any sugestions would be great..!!

Dont know how it would turn out on your rims but I head 2 GSR/Special Edition wheels that were painted black by someone before I got them and I used paint stripper on them and they actually were nice and smooth for the most part.

what is your goal? strip down to the original finish or re-paint?

for any paint to have stuck the clear on the rims had to have been sanded plus the paint stripper will take the clear off anyway.

sorry, but you'll have to either sand them down and re-paint or re-clear. the OEM machine finish is going to be hard to replicate with hand tools...
