ok im hoping everyone isnt goin to go duh noobie but can you plug the heater core hoses from the block im talking about not using the heater core just wondering hopeing someone else is wondering this also thanks for the help
im pretty sure you can do that, you would need to run probably a small piece of pipe or something similar and connect the hoses on each end of it and that would bypass the heater core and still let coolant flow
Needs to be About 20% Cooler

i had a 80 civic wagon and the hetter core went out and asked around the same thing. it is easyer to just hook the 2 hoses together with the hetter valve and then dissconect the control cable and turn the valve off
