Default front bump stop question in DC5

So i lowered my car with Tein S techs. You can see it here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1083262 I had a question about the bump stops in the front. I've heard that you are supposed to cut them. However, the front stops are this enclosure that fits over the strut. If i cut it, the protective part will not stay and be useless.

Am i supposed to cut them? Leave it? Or get certain aftermarket ones?

The reason i ask is because on bigger bumps, especially on the freeway, i can feel the car bottom out. Its not bad, but you can still feel it if the car drops low enough.

eibach has the info on cutting bump stops correctly. you gotta cut a certain amount from the top and bottom of the bump stop. it's different for different cars. i dont have to do it for my car. but try and find the info for the pro-kit or sportlines whichever is closest to the tien S in drop.

There should be instructions with the box telling you how much to cut.. It did with the eibach springs anyways.

Ya teins instructions weren't too good. The reason im asking about this is because the front bump stop is like boot that fits over the top of the strut. ANyone who has done it knows what it is. If i cut it though, atleast the way im lookin at it, the protective boot wont stay over the shaft of the strut. Wasnt sure if that was normal or not.

I'm riding on Progress springs and the instructions stated that I had to cut the bumpstops. I didn't know this until after I was finished with the install. I'm too lazy to redo the suspension so mine are uncut. The ride is good except over big bumps then you can tell the shock needs more travel in order to have a better ride quality.
