are you sure it is leaking from the drain bolt or is it leaking from one of the bolts that holds the oil pan on and leaking down onto the oil drain plug?

if it is leaking from the drain bolt you can use sealant, or you can get an oversized drain bolt kit this will 9 times out of 10 fix the problem

Before buying anything but what came on the car-I would go to a Honda Dealer, buy the oil pan bolt washer that costs $00.99 and ask for the torque specs on it and be shure to follow. Chances are you just didn't squash the washer right.

I agree with civiclized I would do the easiest thing first and then go through the trouble of the oversized bolt.

Best advice there, that usually fixes it. Also don't use a new bolt, use the same one your took out. I had an incident where I bought a used crx and I noticed the drain bolt head was smaller then a stock one, so I changed it out and it leaked oil. I put the old one back in and really had to torque it down ( more then usually )for it to seal correctly and for it to stop leaking oil. I hate previous owners who work on cars that absolute have no clue on what to do.

Those are crush washers. Flip it around and the leak will stop.

Just buy a new one for 50 cents at the most from a dealership, there only ment to be crushed once.

They're malleable and can be crushed more than once.
I'd give it a shot before driving to the dealer

1 side gets crushed and when you flip it over the other side is still gonna be crushed and not seal right. By the time you drain the oil, and take the plug off and flip the washer over, you could of been to the deal and back. Plus if it does not seal your gonna have to drain all the oil again. Honda crush washers are only ment to be crushed once so why try to reuse a 25 cent part ?

Getting a new washer is the best thing to do.

I've flipped washers around and they didn't leak. I've done this with the oil drain, tranny fill and fuel filter washers. When this happened to me I had an extra person so I only lost a little oil.
