i have been thinking about this type of project for a year now
using the rear suspension from a awd civic wagon
and mounting a h22 in the rear, cable tranny would be easyiest

im right there with you...
long time ago it was called the AE86 killer they were gonna put a B16 in an ef hatch then they had some sort of management or money problem, i dunno, and just dumped the project. i think i still have that issue.
yea thats the article i was talkin about. i read about the mid engine h22 integra thats under construction on this site, and the h22 mid engine delsol.
what im talk about is using the awd wagon suspension on the rear this would cut the fab work in half. then u would need axles made with the civic outers and h22 inners. if u then line up the tranny with the hubs and atach the engine and tranny to a rear subframe and reinforce with a cage.
bye the way im not just some noobie, ive done many handa swap and have graduated from wyotech for fabrication and mechanics.

That's nice.
Do you have questions or something?
Are you looking for opinions?
I'm trying to figure out why you posted this.
Take pics during or after you do this project... if you do it (still can't figure out what the post is for).

i just wanted to know about the awd civic suspension , it will bolt in to the rear of the crx right?
that would make this swap a lot easier much cleaner to.

so there is no awd civic guys on here?
i wanted to know if the rear suspension bolts up pretty shure it does, what parts are needed for that?and do they have the same splines as the axles on crx si?
if they did ya could use regular axles for the h22 swap into a crx.
