make sure you have the right type... i don't know about the jdm housings but the reg. integra's run 9006 sockets... what does the accord's socket run? what does the jdm type r conversion socket run? figure that out and you should be good.
socket (ie, d2s, d2r, 9006, h1, etc)

When you say JDM Accord Type R, do you mean like the same car as the TSX w/ projector headlights? If so then you should have D2S bulbs. The only way to make them work in Integra headlights is to machine down the base of the D2S bulb and glue the mounting ring from a 9006 bulb onto the D2S base, so that it looks like this:

Of course this requires specialized equipment.
If it's from an older Accord R then it probably had reflector headlights, and therefore you have D2R bulbs, which are not suitable for use in projector headlights. Sell them and get something else.
Your best bet is to retrofit OEM HID projectors into your headlight housings, so that you will have a projector designed for HID use. HID in the stock halogen projectors are not that great. But if you absolutely must jam an HID bulb into the stock projector, at least get a bulb that already has a base made to fit a 9006 application.

nope because they have a shield designed to create a cut off in nonprojector cars... cars with hid projectors or projectors in general have a built in cut off so to say... projectors = ds2, non projectors = d2r

the d2r and d2s are different, you can't just take out the capsule...i would HIGHLY recommend you not touching them... they are an expensive replacement (relative to reg. bulbs).... so to answer you question in short, you have to replace the WHOLE capsule, the mounting dark gray/black part + clear part... there is no clear part replacement only

hrmm thats weird I was looking at bulbs on ebay and check thsi out.

and on the bottom of the page it says
These bulbs will fit both, the D2S and D2R housings
so doesnt that mean you can replace just the bulbs?

according to the pics (can't really trust pics anymore) but to my best judgement, they're selling d2s capsules that have the housing to fit either d2s OR d2r... get it? d2s/d2r are different.. you see the clear part of the capsule with the long metal stick next to it and a bubble in there? that's d2s... d2r would be the same thing, but with a small piece of metal wrapped around the clear part

D2S and D2R have the same base, a D2 base obviously. Both use the same D2 plug. The difference is the black strip around the clear capsule part.
But still, you cannot use them in Integra projectors unless they have either a D2 base modified to fit 9006 (like in my pic above) or a custom 9006 molded base..

Alrite guys if the bulbs on ebay will fit both the d2s and d2r housing I will purchase them. But for now does anyone of you guys have instructions or can just tell me how to mount the ring of a 9006 to the d2r base?
just like this picture.
just like this picture.
i doubt anyone does this as a profession but you can check online.. they may sell some capsules with 9006 bases on there already... it's not simply glue on the base.. you have to make sure the round part inside the clear tube is at the same distance from the base as your stock unit.
There is a seller on ebay that sells 9006 rebased d2s. Think his name is integra9006 or something. do a search for "d2s 9006" Anways, you can also convert the d2r to d2s by actually sanding the ceramic shield off the d2r. You can also search online for the 9006 rebasing, many have done it.
