Default interior lighting question

i need to replace the bulb on my interior lighting. (gen 3)

its not the dome light, but the light towards the front of the car. the one with two buttons @ top, right infront of the sunroof.

do i just jam a flathead in there and it pops off? i don't want to wreck anything.

thanks

if you look carefully you'll see the notches where the cover is being held in place, use a small flathead and insert in that area to remove it...

I read in another thread that if you can fit it, use a towel or something to cover the screwdriver so it doesn't scratch/hurt anything. I don't know if that spot is too small though...

Try using a paper towel....you're over analyzing all of this. That piece is meant to be taken apart for bulb replacement.

Hey, I wouldn't mind swapping the stock bulb for some nice white LED ones though.
