here the ED (Japan's EF) came out in 1988, and was continued through 1991.

The hatch and sedan are somewhat heavier than the CRX, and the CRX HF is the lightest of all the models, coming in a little under 2000 lbs.

ok so the popular 80's model civic's in the US are the ED chassis code.

see i dont own a honda at all, actually i'm a mazda guy. but i'm getting tired of no one ever making anything for the car i have. no aftermarket anything, except for the motor stuff, which isn't even for my car.

lol, this is alittle off topic, but i was just reading the trial user faq and it says you stay a trial user for 20 days. i have been a trial user since last year. i thought that was kinda funny.

ok back on topic, is there also a thread that list all available bodykits and mods for the ED's?

Holy ****..The HF makes 90ft/lbs at only 2000rpm?.. ..Is that right?..
It cant be cause that would make the HF a torque monster..(Any motor that makes more torque then HP is a torque monster in my eyes..)

yea the remote operated are manual. if they were electronic, it would say power mirrors.

HP is a factor of torque and RPM. Something having to do with torque * RPM / 5252 or something. The HF engines redline around 5000, so they don't rev high. The b16 has 160 HP and 111 lb/ft, but revs to at least 8500 RPM. HP is like how long you can make torque, I think of it that way.

My d15b8 makes 70 HP and 82 lb/ft, and it sucks.

i figured someone was gonna say it.

yeah i'm wanting to get a late 80's civ, but i'm undecided as to which one i wanna get, i guess the cheapest one i can find, but is also in good shape. i didnt like the sedans till i seen a few pics of them done up. so i guess any 88-91 civ.

are there any differences to the cars among the same trim model, between those years?
