Default It's finally here (ZC), lets get to work...

After waiting 3 long weeks my DOHC ZC has finally arrived from HMotors.

After day one of about 4 hours, I determined that I need a different clutch, I have a 20 spline 90-91 clutch, but I need a 21 spline.

Anyone here ever ordered from HMotors and had some crap in the spark plug wells? It wasn't oil, it was a water consistency and I have no idea how it would have gotten there with the plug wires there to cover the wells.

when i ordered my ZC from Hmotors it was super clean. the water in the spark plugs could be from when they pressure wash it. give steve a call and hell try to make it right

I have prdered from them many times, it was probly from when they wash the motors off, dont worry about it, just absorb with rag of high power vacume.

EDIT: Beat to it 2 times

That might explain it but it sure wasn't super clean, they may have gotten some of the heavier stuff off though.

If you're buying from HMotors make sure they have it in stock, I prepaid and it took a while for them to get it in.

If you don't mind the wait prepay for the K but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a waiting list on it. If not there's always EBay.

steve

kickass guy and amazingly quick.

as for your zc...hurry up and get it in. there is no point to a swap if it sits on the garage floor.

He is a good guy until you have to get parts from him or even an engine, he is not the greatest with customer service and shipping parts on time.

Do a search, this has been asked countless times.

If it was my garage floor getting it in wouldn't be a problem. It's gonna have to wait till after new years to get installed.

Also, is it the 88 and 89 clutches that have 21 splines or just the 88. I'm also guessing I'll need the same year flywheel.

how much did your zc from hmotors cost? cuz mine's shot all to hell it's overheating and all i can guess is that it's the head or head gasket cuz i put in an oem thermo and water pump i paid 350 bones for mine used off a guy i met at the dragstrip, used a 90 integra ecu on it and 3 days later it started that crap. so i just got pissed and bought an 86 rwd corolla which i just ordered a set of mikuni sidedraft carbs to do a 4ag twincam swap but i really want to get the crx running first.
