IN NEED OF HELP! I have an all-motor motor and need to get smog check in SoCal
PLEASE PM ME with info. I need to take it to a Test Only Center, so let me know what are my choices, any help would be great.

is it still stock? you might want to be sure and get it pre-checked first... that way, if it fails, at least sacramento won't know about it... just tell 'em to run the test without the computer online to sac.
warm the car up well on the freeway right before going in for the test... sometimes new plugs and fuel system cleaner can also help, depending on what the smog test readings were when it failed.

what do you have in the motor? i can recommend you a place where i get mine done legally though.. hehe.. which is probably not why you made this post

i'm not sure if anyone here is still a smog tech or knows someone who is one since this post is pretty old...but can someone help me pass my smog test with catback exhaust and intake?
