h22 times for a 94?
it depends, ive seen swaps run real shitty like 15.3's (fawk even I can do better than that now) to high 14's, in regards to turbo it depends on your state of tune should be at least low 14 territory, again STATE OF TUNE is the key
so is that like stock GSR times????? I've even seen Type R's run low 15's i guess it's just the driver.....but that h22 accord....is that pretty close with running with GSR'S?????
ya thats what i was thinking basically around 15 with an h22 but actually whats the time currently when its ALL STOCK compared to having an h22 thx guys
When my car was stock, it ran something like a 17.8. The lowest I ever got with the Accord motor was 15.6 with a 55shot. Now with the H22 and no nitrous, it ran a 14.8

I have a 97 accord Lx coupe with a JDM H22a, and ran 14.846 @ 93mph. that was before my fuel stuff and my dyno tune with full interior and my 17s on. I should be able to hit 14.5 now, and shooting for 13s all motor in the spring... btw, it is a 5speed.
I've only seen 3 hybrids at the 1/4 mile, and they all ran high 14s.
If I ever get around to running the 1320, I'm hoping for mid 14s (which should be attainable judging by how my little 4 door 4 banger hangs with Mustang Cobras, E36 M3s, and this 540 I supprised the other day).

i know this may sound kinda dumb, but is the accord powerful enough to have fire come out of the exhaust while revving it up
ok i did a search on the differences between h22 and h23 and came up with nothing for the past half hour so can anyone gimme a little info between these 2 engines, i think the h23 is a bit more expensive thats it and the h22 would fit a little better
In a nutshell, the H22 (2.2 liters) is a DOHC VTEC motor that makes 195~200 HP in stock form. The H23 (2.3 liters, 0.1 liters more due to a longer stroke) is a DOHC but non-VTEC motor so "only" puts out 160 HP. Both blocks are identical and will fit in (almost) any Accord or Prelude. Japan now has a H23 VTEC, and some people here in North America are putting the H22s VTEC head on H23 blocks.
