90 accord lx thermostat location

My girlfriends car temp gauge is out of wack so I'm looking for the thermostat to change, but I can't find it. Could some post up a pic of where it is? Thanks in advance, by the way her car is a 90 lx 4 door.

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine block... viola!

does the temperature gauge look like this when the engine is running?

If it does then I've been told that is normal.

If you follow your lower radiator hose which is on the passenger side right by the tranny then it goes into the passenger side of the engine. The top radiator hose does not contain your thermostat it is the very top hose from radiator to engine block.

#10 is the lower radiator hose
