My car's been stored for about 2 weeks now with all the regular stuff done.

Now 2 weeks before I stored it I did an oil change but I also went to the track and to the dyno in the time between the oil change and storing it.

Now my question is I have the oil in my garage it's just a PITA, if it was your car would you change the oil again or just leave it and change it after storage.

I don't want any contaminents harming the motor and even though the oil still looks pretty clean I don't know if I should just change it.

Let me know if it was your guys cars what you would do.

i wouldent really worry about it. you will be fine
if u feel u must go ahead but id say no

 

Thanks I think you are right I'll leave it and change it before I take it out of storage.

 

If the oil still looks clean, then leave it. Other wise change it.

Yah I mean it's not BRAND NEW clean but it's still pretty clear and it was only changed quite a bit less than 1000km's(622 miles) ago and not even a month before storage.

 

You should be good. Have fun with your beater over the winter
