Removing sideskirts that are molded.
Hey guys im picking up a shell that has molded buddy club sideskirts on it. I want to take them off first thing wheN i pick it up... I was jsut wondering if you guys had any tips on taking it off and removing all the bondo to get back to the stock look. If I were to put my hands under the sideskirt and pull back, do you think the metal would change shape at all from the bondo being stuck on so good? Or will it just pop right off
most likely your going to have to take a hammer to it...then chissle out the side skirt...then sand it down the rest of the bondo to the body..goodluck
do you think it's gona be a difficult task?
when u said good luck it seemed like you have doubts in what it'll turn out like

nah...just saying goodluck...well its seems pretty easy but u have to make sure u know where the side skirt begins and ends on the car...cause if u just start wacking away and u dont know where the side skirt ends...you might end up smacking the body of the car then you'll have to spend more money trying to get that **** fixed...so just try to find out where the side skirt starts molding into the body...try tapping on it...listen for the different sounds...metal and bondo
