Default Accord Lip / Rear Valance

Hi, I've heard that a certain year of Accord has a bumper/lip trim piece that will fit on a 4th gen prelude, I've also heard there is also a piece for the rear, has anyone tried this out? If so, could I see some pictures? I'd just like to see how it looks, thanks

Ok, I did a search and found the pictures thread, but now I'm curious as to what kind of "modifications" exactly are required. Someone in the picture thread said all it took was to drill a couple holes or something. Also, for the rear accord lip, every picture I see looks like it had to be cut to make it fit. Could anyone tell me about this? thanks

some people modify the front lip. i did not. i took an old crappy soldering iron i had and used to it to burn holes in the front lip to match up to where i could bolt it on the car.

for the rear, the part of the lip that is near the rear wheel is way to long . i just cut that off, and rounded it to make it look pretty. oh, i also have a large exhaust tip so, i had to cut the right part of the lip so it would clear the exhaust. i used the soldering iron the same way as for the front lip

if you get the lips and kind of dummy fit them to your car, you can kinda see what modifications you'll need to do.

Thanks, now that I know how easy it will be (i have the tools to make the holes and trim the back) it's off to my local auto salvage yard to look for an Accord.

Okay, it's been awhile since I started the thread, I've seen quite a few pictures and a detailed write-up with pics of how to fit an Accord lip to a prelude...but I was thinking, If an aftermarket accord lip were to fit the same way as the original did, would it be possible to make one of those fit the Prelude as well, with the same modification?

Here's a lip I was considering... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...36475

If painted to match my car I think it would look really good, and it's incredibly cheap.
Anyone ever tried putting an aftermarket Accord lip on a Prelude? Think this would fit?

Strange you should mention, i tried asking this question just a few days ago, someone said mugen accord lip works with accord mods but type r is too short?

Doesnt make sense to me...can anyone put this to rest? I'd really REALLY like an accord type r or even mugen lip fitted..cheapoo

I'm pretty sure that the Type-R one will fit, there was a guy on Super-Honda that had it on his and he had a write up for it.

Here is a link to ithttp://www.superhonda.com/foru...95860

And here were some pics:

Not bad looking, I plan on using the Type-R one myself

so say just subtract one inch from one side and then try to fit it up and both sides line up better?
