ok heres whats goin on...a few days ago when I started my car to go to work, I started hearing this like high pitched rattling sound commin from what I think the top pulley(not sure which one but the one right next to the antifreeze over flow reservoir). The sound doesn;t go away and tonight when I came home, I now heard a low pitched like "errnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"(dunno how to describe it) sound along with the high pitched rattling sound. I left the engine running and got out and looked and nothing looks loose or wobbling and the belt(s) look fine to me. what do you all think this prob could be? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just a guess. If it is the top pulley that should be the PS unit if i remember right. Either way if you are sure the noise is comming from there that the unit could be going bad. I used a car for a while and the pulley went totally bad, made all sorts of noise, we finally got the pulley replaced and it was fine.
