would a b20a5 out of a 89 lude work for a b20/vtec. ? I never knew that the b20 came in the lude but someone says that it does so i thought i would ask.

 

Diferent beast all together... it's a B series in name only and doesn't really share anything else w/ the other b-series .

Yeah you're right..Cant use that block for a b20vtec..
And no one makes aftermarket mounts for it to go into the 88-91 chassis..
Lots of welding and custom fabrication ..IMO its not worth it..
And also have you seen that crazy angle the motor sits at..

 

yeah man that b20 sucks ***, and i also agree that it wouldnt be worth the hassle to try to get it mounted and **** in your car.

 

that is what i was thinking. so i don't get why it is still the B20. ahhh... oh well thanks for the heads up.

 

That old junk isn't a true B-series motor, I wouldn't even bother with it.
