Hey fellas, it's me again. Sorry for asking too much questions a day. but here goes. I just bought a 88 crx si, this is my 3rd CRX>!!!!!! Imagine the love i have for crxes. lol Anyways. My question is, this 88 crx that i purchased had some sort of fuel rail?(blue) Here's the picture. .



If i was to take that off, Where does the two fuel hoses go back to?
I ask because the smog tech dood, don't let smog it cause it wouldn't pass visual so he wouldn't proceed.

 

That blue thing is a fmu..(rising rate fuel pressure regulator)
When you take off the 2 hoses you have to hook them back to the stock fuel pressure regulator..

No....only some parts of NJ are like that..
Im 5-8" 17 years old..185lbs..Big arms,Nice body,Big d***,I'm funny and like to have fun..I have an afro which I just trimmed the other day..
Half black..half Italian..Look hispanic..Born in Barbados..Left when I was 5..
At the moment I have no car..My 88 STD rusted away..
Trying to get either a 90-91 crx si,87-93 mustang 5.0,or a 79-85 rx-7..
I like long walks on the beach and I'm very ambitious..

i have friends in NJ, I planned to go there last summer but didn't have the time. But anyways yeah. Didn't mean to cause any harm in saying i heard there's alot of killing . . lol. Every state has alot of killing. But yea, I don't plan on going out of state this coming year. But i am going down to LA!!! So if your in that area and would like to take it on the streetz against my gsr (boosted probably by then ) crx then gimme a holla.!!! ;]

I doubt if I'll be in LA anytime soon..
I do have a cousin in LA and family in Las vegas but dont plan on goin any time soon..Thanks for the offer..To bad though..It would have been a good relationship and experience..

Hey Mami, from the pic it looks like your stock Fuel pressure regulator is still there on the fuel rail so all you need to do is remove the blue one and the T/Y fitting and replace it with a single hose from the manifold to the FPR. Oh and do the same with the other end of it. BTW, when are you comin down to LA? maybe we can have a mini EF meet or something. I wanna meet you and your rex. I know a few guys/girls from the CRX owners club and this forum I'm sure, who'd be down for a meet.

sometime in the feb - march. Actually it's a camping trip with my friends. lol. Everyone is taking their T100 Toyota trucks, and i'll be in my crx. lOL

thats BS.... having a blue fuel rail doesnt mean a single thing... that tech dood is a damn ***... you are better taking it to another tech.... im pretty sure since you are a girl (he would make some money off ya)... IMO just take it to another SMOG Tech or place.... BTW make sure you got all the tune up done and oil and filters changed... it will make a difference

 

to bad you lived in cali, I would say take off all that brading on the rad hoses and brake booster vacuum line. ask someone locally if you can compare their engine bay with yours and hook-up the stock fuel return line back up. I would remove the charcole canister and all that emissions bs. I dont have emissions tests here in canada, thats why. looks pretty clean though. I say come down here to canada for a snow filled christmas, not many crimes, and there are almost no girls with nice hondas.
