Default Lighter flywheels

I need some imput from people that have lighter flywheels. I had a friend that had a race weight Spoon (or JUN, cant remember) He said it made it a bit harder for him to street drive it. What do you thin, and what do you have in your car, what was good and bad about your change in flywheel weight.

What is the stock weight of an LS flywheel? What is a really light one? Are there any other honda (gsr? itr? jdm?) that are lighter than an LS but not some super light race thing.

Thanks for everything

A lighter flywheel means that it has less momentum, and is easier to stall the car. Also, from what I hear, it lessens the milage a hair, and suppossedly you have to shift faster, or fast. In terms of a light flywheel, that's in the 7 pound range. OEM ones tend to run around 14, but I could be mistaken. I'm not sure of the weight of the others though. Currently, I am still running my stock flywheel, but everything is out there on HT.

rs ls gsr fly wheels weigh about 17 lbs .. ITR weights around 14 .. and aftermarkets are usually either 12 lbs or 8.5 lbs .. i'd go w/ the 12 lb'er.!
