how much to lighten my stock LS flywheel and how much should i ligthen it(pounds). will it make a difference. thanks

 

5lbs is about the most you should shave off to avoid problems with structural integrity. Make sure you get somewone who knows what they're doing to machine it (ensuring proper weight balance and take off weight from the proper areas, etc.)
