Default headers on a auto 90 sedan with a 98 D16Y7?

i just heard that theres no point on putting headers on my ride since its an auto... can any one tell me why i was told that cause i really want to give my ride more h.p.


any advise out there?????

First the word is header; headers is plural. You can put any D-Series header on the motor, it is up to you on 4-1 or 4-2-1 design. Don't listen to the naysayers here who would like to burn all thing automatic, you can do the same things you would with bolt ons auto or not.

witch kind should i get? i just want more h.p and i dont really care about fuel consuption but i cant afford anything expensive... ( like what brand and so....) and should i expect a difference on the h.p? and what about noise?

Have you done any research on your own? You will only get so much horsepower with just a header, usually in the area of 4-5whp. It is just a matter of where you want your power. Read this article, good exhaust basics -
