I got pulled over for a loud muffler...
The exhaust that came with the car from the dealer is illegal.
Now I can't drive the car. Lame!!

For the record I have a 5Zigen Catback.

I don't have it. I've been trying to buy one on here for f'ing months

 

Put on the stock muffler so the jugde will drop the ticket, then put the 5zigen piece back on there.

 

What kind of ticket did you get?

 

see that's the problem is that I don't have the stock one, because the Acura dealer didn't have it.

Put an Apex N1 on there and drive by again, then he'll thank you for using such a quiet exhaust.

I had some *** next to me in a celica with a giant angled exhaust and he picked on me.

 

UM. Did you get a ticket saying you have to get smogged at the ref. station? Did you get a ticket saying you can get it corrected by getting it signed off at a police station? Is it just a fine?

 

No I actually have to go to a State Ref and of coure they are booked until Thursday of next week. So I'm pissed

 

wtf? your troopers would prolly have a heat attack if they ever saw the cars rolling down south in NC/SC. If that **** has 4 good wheels and a license plate, its good to go.

Yes this is a shameless plug for my exhaust, but you can have it well before your date with the law...
Just buy mine and then never have to worry again.

How did the dealer sell you a car without a cat? It wouldn't of passed smog without one. Why don't you go down to the dealer and tell them you want your cat.

that sux man, in MI if they pull you for loud exhaust they give you a fix it ticket and you just have to drop by the precinct and show them how loud it is. If they are cool with it then your good to roll! No checking for a cat or smog legal parts here... hell if some of the ppl i know drove to Cali in their cars the cops would probably **** a brick! Like everyone i know that's modded their car has no cat and no carb/smog legal parts, like open downpipe HMT setups and stuff... gotta love MI
