This question has probably been asked before but i need to know. Do most CF Lips out of the box have a perfect fitment? Is it common knowledge that you'll need a body shop to have them put on? What brand would you suggest gives the best fitment out of the box without any MAJOR modifications. I bought this Carbon Creations lip and it clearly doesnt fit flush with the bumper. The dealer is telling me to take it to a body shop to be put on. I just didn't realize i needed to do this or like i said - is it common knowledge. All your feedback is appreciated. Thanks

 

i like the spoon lip....u can do by yourself.not every single product is going to fit perfect, but it should fit fine...mine is VIS...if your is carbon creations it should fit fine..u should searching next time

 

I guess it was my fault not wanting to spend the money. is a body shop really necessary? but i guess if you look at this lip - i might just have too

thats the thing - its not on the car. i just test fitted it to make sure it lined up but unfortunately it didn't. I figured i could fit it on in order to know where to drill the holes but it was on the sides.

 

yeah mine was like that too....i took my bumper off and it made things so much easier...get a friend to help u out

My old Spoon cf lip had the best fit. It was like factory, just had to be bolted on. The VIS cf Spoon copy fits pretty well overall, just needed to get the middle bolt on, and then work my way outward.

mine is VIS...fitment is good...i heard that carbon creations is really good also

 

so i take it Spoon and VIS already had pre-drilled holes in the CF Lips. Wonder why Carbon Creations doesn't do that. Thank again for all your replys'

no VIS doesnt have predrilled holes...but they have markings on the lip where to drill
