B16-ITR Head???????????

Default B16-ITR Head???????????

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my GSR with a type R head but, does anybody knows the diference betwen the B16 head and the Type R head? or is the same?
some body is selling me a PR3 head and the guy said that is from a Type R ,How do I know????,

The ITR head and b16 head casting are the same.The difference are that the Itr head comes with Little porting and polishing. Different Valve that are lighter and flow better. also the Itr head comes with Better Valve spring That Allow you to rev higher.The lost motion also different....hope this helps

very good, only one thing that is not clear how can I tell the diference by looking ,do they both said PR3 or they have something else.......?

Keep the GSR head...have it worked...use later year GSR LMAs or ITR ones (same thing)...GSR head is a better one to build on.

Search on it...you'll lose compression if you ditch the p72 head.

near the vtec solenoid there should be an engraving p30 or pr3 and there should be a green mark near the engraving to show that it is a true itr head not 100% sure but im pretty sure

why cuz u can't answer the question you have to belittle him? lame.

and keep the gsr head, have it worked on and you will get better results
