Anyway to the story. Basically I took my girlfriend to see this big show of lights, was bringing her back to campus, took a road that we thought was a road we knew. It was dark, foggy. Didn't see a stop sign, didn't even see another road. And we were sideswiped by a S-10 pickup truck going about 55-60 mph.
They said if the truck hit about 6 inches further up on my car, it probably would of killed her instantly. We are okay, we walked out of the car, and the other guy I believe is fine too, his truck hit, then went up and over my car and landed on the roof.

I have a pinched nerve in my back/pulled muscles, she had some chest pain from seat belt. We were lucky. As for the car, I might be getting a CRX, the motor is still good...etc etc. Anyway, don't ever take anything for granted, cause this **** can happen to you. I never thought it would cause for the most part, I'm a very cautious driver. You can't get yourself out of an accident when mother nature makes it hard to see, and you don't even see the thing that hit you.

Sucks.

this all depends on the offers being made. I would like to keep for another project, but if I find out I can barely pay insurance. It may be all parted.

Wow, your car looks like the other integra that was hit by some lady that ran a red light. You must of had somebody watching over you and your g/f for both of you to walk away from a collision like that, especially her being in the passenger seat. Good luck with everything.

 

I Came to the conclusion a long time ago that honda engineers some awesome cars,...

I completely fucked up the whole Passenger side of my 5th gen prelude, and We walked right out of it.

It totalled the **** out of the vehicle but didnt total us. Thats the most impotant thing in your situation too..

When you get feeling better get you another car, but be careful man, dont want that to happen again
