IS it possible to put V-tec on a 98 DX D16Y7?
yes its called a min-me...putting a d16y8 vtec cylinder head on your stock block, will also need an ecu to go with it, Bauley Civic did a massive write up about this a while back, ill try and find it.

Basically you'll be bolting the D16Y8 head onto the Y7 block.

yes thats about it, more to it then that, but fairly simple, if u can change a head gasket, u can do this.
