People beating up on Hondas thinking their cars Are BETTER! HAHAHHA
I have a 91 hb with a d15b w/ si manifold swap-mostly stock the Normal I/h/E and i got it weighed in at about 1950 lbs
this kid wants to race me in a 96 cavelier thinking hes all hot with a system in his trunk- and doesn't belive me that he won't win.. ever have stupid *** people bugg u like this ... just wondering if u guys had any other funny or hilarious storys as of this one -PEace OUt and Drive Hard -teal_civic_mobile

Your post is a little arrogant. A 1996 cavi isn't that slow. It's either a DOHC 2.2L fuel injected engine at around 125HP or a DOHC 2.4L fuel injected engine pushing 150HP (better model shared with the Sunfire). It's probably automatic, but it might not matter considering you're barely pushing 95hp to the wheels on a MPFI D15B2.
American cars may not be purpose built but don't underestimate especially when you're running low yourself.

They are slow...When my dad had to bring his wrx to the shop they gave him 2004 cavalier for a rental. WOW it was a snail...
