comptech rear sway/tie torque specs for install?
i just got me the comptech rear sway/tie bar kit today. i am going to install it on my 2000 civic. the only problem with the instructions is that it doesnt tell how much lbs do i torque anything down. i would like to make my installs as best as possible. if anyone knows how much ft/lbs for each bolts/nuts for the install..please let me know. thanks.
I'd just use the factory specs...16 ft-lbs on both of the endlink nuts and 16 ft-lbs also on the bushing clamp nuts. But, as far as the tie bar mounting points, I'm not familiar with that, so you might need another opinion on that one
That sucks! My Suspenion Techniques rear sway/tie kit told me all the torque numbers! I have all that info at home on my desk.
16ft/lbs? that is pretty light..when i had my itr bar, from the beaks kit. i think it was 24lbs.. i tried going to beaks website to check it out again but nothing is loading up.
bump..need some more info..i want to install this baby asap.. thanks.
