Default Starting Problem

Recently since its been raining in SOCAL and cold...morning hours or car been sitting for couples of hour it takes a lil longer to crank over/start....usually one quick click and it turn over now its like more than a 10 second before it turns over? why is that cold weather or bad starter, plugs?????? when its all warm up and stuff it starts fine

Mine does the same thing. I haven't done anything about it yet because I just got the car a little while ago, and it's bloody freezing out. My plan was to inspect the entire ignition system:

-test ICM and coil with multimeter
-inspect cap, rotor and overall condition of dizzy (inside)
-measure resistance on wires
-inspect connectors on wires for corrosion or poor contact
-inspect spark plugs

That's my plan when I have a half hour free on a nicer day... good luck to ya!

I'm having the same exact problem on my cx, at first i thought it was the battery but then the dealer i bought it from said they had installed a new battery which was probably bs...
