does a accord run without the iacv hooked up?

i dont think my connetion is good but i wanna know b4 i tear **** apart

 

You could have come up with a better title, it's not search friendly nor does it give any indication as to what you thread is about.

As for your question. I don't know if it'll run without it but why would you need to run without it? Just take it apart, clean the screen and put it back together. Shoudln't take very long at all.

 

If you mean disconnect the electrical conn it will run but constantly hunt 1200 - 1400 rpm. If it dont run bad/stuck valve. It will be a bitch to drive in traffic. Been there done that. I got an IACV for a 99 w/a 2.4 almost new I can sell you.
