Default HOW TO INSTALL A OIL P.S.I GAUGE

<U>[B]I RECENTLY BOUGHT A OIL PSI GAUGE BUT HAVE NO IDEAL TO INSTALL IT. IT HAS A SIGNAL WIRE, A GROUND WIRE, AND A POWER WIRE?_ I GUESS I KNOW HOW TO HOOK UP POWER AND GROUND BUT NOT THE SIGNAL?_WANT TO DO IT MYSELF BUT DONT KNOW WHERE TO HOOK UP THE SIGNAL?HAVING IT DONE AT A SHOP IS GRIP...! DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE HOOK UPS_?</U>

Why is everything BOLD and CAPS and Underlined????

signal goes to the back of the block to the one wire sensor above or below oil filter...depends on the engine.

Oh yeah, do you know which wire to conncet the signal? Engine size is a f22.

You should have gotten a sending unit with your gauge, that should be screwed into the engine block and the signal wire hooks to that.

Would you might have a picture on how that would look like hooked up to the block? I also bought the oil psi gauge used and all it came with was just the gauge itself. Looking in the back of the gauge there were three screws connected to gauges and they were a ground, a power, and a signal? what color wire do i hook up the signal to the block oil sensor.

What kind of gauge is it?
If is is an autometer, you can buy the sensor from http://www.jegs.com for about $35. You can screw this in the block near the oil filter and the SIGNAL wire hooks to the back of the sensor.
