Is there anyway that Acura would put the black (ebony) interior with the premium white pearl paint?

I see at http://www.acura.com that the only option with PWP is the titanium interior, but at http://www.acura.ca (Canada) Premium White Pearl comes with ebony interior!?!

Anyone heard of doing custom deals with Acura?

they would probably charge you extra special ordered... which would make u have to pay even more for a car that is already too expensive new.

I don't think its too expensive. 23k seems right to me. Its an Acura, high quality, leather, good reliablity, great motor, etc

 

I dont think you can. Its a gripe a lot of us have, me being one of those. If it was possible there would be some of us white dc fivers rolling with the ebony. Go to Canada, it might be cheaper assuming acura would even agree to do a special order.

 

About the PWP with Ebony, all the dealers I went to would not do it, saying it is not possible for them to do that....

So today, I just purchased a 05 PWP, with the titanium interior...it's not that bad, I can live with it.

Yeah i also begged to get it. I was also willing to pay extra. But they told me it didn't matter how much extra i wanted to pay, i just wasn't happening.

 

Im in the same boat...I think Im just gonna pick a black on black one up

 

Yea it sucks that they don't offer that combo.

I have a DSM colored RSX-S and wanted black, so I bought the entire interior from some dude that rolled his silver rsx and did the interior swap. It was a pain in the ***, but now I have unique combination and it looks pretty nice.

I've seen a couple of people that have done the black interior swap in PWP rsx's on clubrsx.com and they look really nice, they way they should look from the factory.

So either buy a rsx with black interior and paint it, or do the costly interior swap, but either way won't be easy.

If I'm going to spend the money for the interior swap, might as well go with the black w/ ebony and get it painted Championship White

 

even if you switch out the seats, carpet, mats, etc...You still have a tan dash and stearing wheel! Either way I'm not ripping apart a brand new car!

 

Call or write to American Honda. It seems trivial but it will help.
Case in point, the 2005 Acura TSX. Finally, Acura offered the Milano red exterior color with black (ebony) interior. They also offer the Tan, but I think they'll sell a ton of Red/Black combo. It never hurts to call and let them know what we want.

your right, and dash was a nightmare. It took me 17 hrs, and my friends almost killed me, but we got it done and I'm happy I did it, although I will never do anything like that ever again.

omg that's forever lucky i just got my car painted cw and i tried gettin it white with ebony.... they said no or you have to pay extra don't know how much but since it's the dealer arm and a leg

 

The way people are making this seem it might be easier to buy one, any color with the ebony and then just repaint the whole car white.

I received the same answer when I was asking in 02.

 

u knoe what u could buy a black acura which already has the ebony interior, and then paint it over, that way u can get the black with the white outside, better yet get championship white better than premuim white pearls. That way, you probably save some money rather than having dealership charge u extra or changing the interior

 

I was trying for the white too but just ended up buying a black one and going to do a color change. It will be alot cheaper than changing everything out.
