Default Blew my motor, need some help. Kind of long.

I went to start my car last week to head to school and my car fired right up but was idleing really badly. Sitting at very low rpm and struggling to stay on. I gave the car a little gas and the idle got more sluggish. I looked up at my hood and saw smoke coming from underneath. I popped the hood and there was smoke coming out of my vlave cover breather. A LOT of smoke.

I searched and found that most people had experienced this with broken ringlands. I was told that i would be able to see scaring on the cylinder walls of the bad piston(s).

Today i tiook my head off and found that cylinder walls 2,3 looked excellent with no visible scaring.
Can i rotate the crank to see the cylinder walls on 1 and 4?
Is it possible that i jsut blew my head gasket?
Lastly if i remove the pistons and find that they are ok, can i just put them back in, reson i ask is that i am broke and can not afford a rebuild. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your time and help.

I would assume you can rotate the motor to check the other two cylinders but ultimately you will probably have to take the block apart to replace/inspect the rings.
