Default BURNING RICH HELP

i cant get my car to pass HC on emissions.....its burning really rich and theyres lots of black soot........89" Civic DX 1.5L dpfi.........the only bolt on is the muffler
need help fast

theres lots of stuff you can do.

perhaps a fresh o2 sensor could help runnign rich.

you could use seafoam, or a product like it, an clean the engine itself out. there was a thread about it yesterday on here.

you could get a new cat on there.

are all the vaccum lines hooked up and in the proper position?

is the timing at TDC?

does the ecu have one of those awful ebay chips on it?

when was a full tune up last done, fuel & oil filters, plugs, wires, oil change?

all affects what comes out that tailpipe, how many miles are on the engine?

like i said its stock except the muffler......
180 000 km
Ive put a new
converter
o2 sensor
Plugs
Wires
New distribuator
timing was done
Cleaned the iacv and the plugs are still turning blacker that hell.......im goin through alot of plugs......

the computer is stock nothing done to it
I replaced all vaccum lines......1 by 1 so that shouldnt be it
like ive changed the oil/filter new fuel and air filter everything i can think of...... but i cant get it to stop
