tuesday was rainy and foggy here in MD. I was on my way home from work and a bald guy in a ford ranger decides to turn into the gas station like 15 feet in front of me. i locked the brakes and tried to avoid him but to no avail i T-boned him and then bounced off the curb Im just glad the turbo was off. sorry my pics are huge update page 2

sorry to see that man.. it's been a rainy day and night today also. and my Azenis suck a$$ in it.

 

the brakes are only two days old still sort of grabby plus it was wet and my car sucks in teh rain. BTW the ranger is going to need a frame machine i can honestly say i got the best of him

 

So who was at fault?

nah i wish, 8psi the turbo is off till i can build an exhaust

 

rangers suck. I have one as a work truck. i hate it. my wife gets to drive my civic

 

i had the same thing happen to me in reverse. Some stupid blonde was pulling OUT of a gas station on the same side of the street i was on. I was going against oncoming traffic trying to avoid her before she hit the *** end of my eclipse.

and o, she tried to sue ME!

I personally like the ABS on my 00 SiR. Combined with 4 wheel Discs and good tires my car stops really quick.

In fact the other day a dog ran out in front me when i was doing 60 KM/H (37 MPH)

I just laid into the brakes and the old pedal vibrated like crazy but I stopped quick enough not to hit it.

I find I am able to mash the pedal to the floor and steer around things with ABS.

Well go ahead and flame away you people who hate ABS.

ABS is great for daily driving and people who dont know how to stop properly... its just better to not have ABS when doing track and hard driving (assuming you know what you're doing)

at least ford circles the problem they just need to get them off the road now along with people over the ages of 55 behind the wheel still

yes the whole car was repainted new formula red
