Weird smell help
Ok so im driving down the road in my 90 hatch and i get this smell and its like coming from my heater i think my heater coil went bad it smells so bad. Its like a constant smell but when i let it cool down on the way home from work i didnt smell it that bad but i didnt put the heat on. Is this hard to fix and is this the prob?

i Went to the shop i was really low on coolant so that might of been the prob caz their was no coolant on my rug. And now i dont smell anything and the heat is fine now that i put it in but i went and got the stuff today and im gonna change the oil and **** i dont know whats up but they told me 330 for labor on the heater coil so if that is it, it will be done by my self

similar thing happened in my 95 grand am......horrible anti-freeze smell, but the car didn't seem to be overheating. when i took it to the shop i found out it was a bad heater core. sounds to me like that may be your problem as well.
