Its like a constant smell but when i let it cool down on the way home from work i didnt smell it that bad but i didnt put the heat on. Is this hard to fix and is this the prob?

i Went to the shop i was really low on coolant so that might of been the prob caz their was no coolant on my rug. And now i dont smell anything and the heat is fine now that i put it in but i went and got the stuff today and im gonna change the oil and **** i dont know whats up but they told me 330 for labor on the heater coil so if that is it, it will be done by my self

I had a heater core in my first civic changed by the dealership. $950 labor & parts.

similar thing happened in my 95 grand am......horrible anti-freeze smell, but the car didn't seem to be overheating. when i took it to the shop i found out it was a bad heater core. sounds to me like that may be your problem as well.
