What do you think of this tranny set up?
I'm ordering my cybernation stage 1 turbo next month, so, in order to prep for my new engine mod i've decided to pick up some goodies for the tranny... Please feel free to leave comments for improvement on what i've listed or if there is anything that could possibly replace it...
RSX type S flywheel
Quaife LSD
I want to go with an exedy clutch But i'm not too sure what would be best for my application. My car is a daily driver and with stage 1 turbo i plan on putting out around 250-300 whp. I was going to go with a single cerametallic clutch.
Any useful feed back is appreciated...

Honestly IMHO a cerametallic clutch is overkill for the Cybernation stage one. Go with an organic disk for the smoother engagement. I have the ACT Extreme duty pressure plate, and improved organic disk and am extremely happy with it, but Exedy has some prime stuff as well, I don't think there is much of a difference between the two.
As far as the Quaife goes you will love it. As far as mods go, IMO again, this is one of the best out there.

I know it might be a lil over kill for stage one, but i've heard that its a very close to stock feel when driving. I forgot to mention that i will be building a a2 engine on the side for a stage 2.5 since its all pretty much engine mods. Would the organic clutch still hold up considering my car is my daily driver and i need the durabilty of a good clutch but not too harsh on the daily drive.
If you are going with the stage 2 or higher from Cybernation, then you might want the cerametallic. The Organic would hold up fine to Stage 1, but I would question it holding up to the amount of torque you will get with the higher boost, and there is no sense in buying two clutches.

Do you have time to tell me a little more about this? What's it cost?
What's it designed to do, HP-wise, and are there any other changes required to the powertrain in order to install it?
How many miles on your car?

I'm thinking you're going with OEM because you know where to get one cheaply. Are you sure you have to change flywheels at all? My DC2 ITR has 40 HP over stock, and it's doing fine w/the OEM flywheel.

I'm a big fan of Torsen axles and the Quaife LSD is better than the Honda OEM unit. The only comment I have is that the Quaife is going to cost you about $800 (best price I've seen) and the Honda OEM K motor Torsen axle is available for just a couple to a few hundred.
Depending on exactly why you're going with Quaife, you might want to think about the OEM LSD.

Also, get the quaife. the DC5R LSD is only designed to handle about 250hp. and running slicks with it will break things. not only that. the quafe is guaranteed for life. you don't have to worry about breaking it.
