We are swapping a B16 into a 92 Civic Si this weekend. My buddy is swapping his P28 ECU for a P30. Will the P30 ECU be able to get his D16Z6 started and moved into my garage? It will simply be idling/1500 rpm. We'd push it in, but impossible with the amount of ice in my driveway.

His D16Z6 is already screwed up, so as long as it won't screw up the ECU, we are happy.

Is he trading the ECU or does he still have it? If he still has it, why not use the P28?

 

The plan was to keep the P28 and chip it, but there's a longer than acceptable delay, so he found someone that's willing to do a trade.

 

It will work good enough for you to pull the car up in the garage.. other then that i wouldn't drive it with the p30.. incorrect fuel map's,etc.
