well the vafc has a plug that plugs into a plug that is ran into the ecu. i was gonna use like real this soldering iron solder to jump it.

Let me know what you come up with. I also am thinking of removing a VAFC that I did not install. As long as it is "spliced" into the wire as opposed to taking the place of the wire from the harness to the ECU just unplugging it would be OK? Correct me if I am wrong someone. Thanks.

I don't why you'd somehing like that, it's kinda dumb, all you need to is goto where the wires are spliced in, most of them are just spliced straight in, so just cut them.

Other will have two wires into one, these are the VTEC wire and the MAP wire, you need to cut the two wires and twist the ends together so it makes one continuos circuit,

and you still have your wiring harness you can sell, without 2 feet of useless wires sitting under your dash..

unplugging it wouldn't be ok, because the MAP wires and VTEC actuator are intercepted by the AFC, for example the MAP wire is cut, the ran to the AFC, then the AFC runs a 2nd wire back to the the MAP wire to complete teh circuit.

If you just unplug it then the ecu won't get the signals from either of these wires.

I see what you mean now. I have never installed or dealt w/ an AFC hack. I hate them personally. I see now how the map wire and the VTEC wire is ran completing the circuit through the VAFC. Thanks. I hope this works out OK.
