Default rsx type-s tranny on ep3?

just out of curiosity, could the six speed rsx tranny work on the k20a3 engine? assuming the trannies were just swapped.

Yes. There's a write up on the install on my site in the tech section.

but the gears would probably be wrong for your k20a3 powerband.

Nope. It works quite well actually. It is similar to putting the DOHC ZC tranny on an ED9. Shorter 2,3,4, and 5.

It works fine with the k20a3 motor. I just installed mine about 5 days ago and it took like 3 hours. The 6 speed really helps the engine alot. It makes aceleration much better and it also brings down your rpms on high way speeds of about 1/2 a grand at 70 which means saving some gas
