??? DILEMA ???
I have a real problem. I have a k24 block w/ an a2 head in a 02 ep3 but I have been trying to get it boosted but it iz nearly impossible 2 find a reputable place that has faith in doing it. So what I want to do is put the head back on my stock engine (02 SI) and boost it simply because I've been told by alot that the a3 is better to boost so where is a good place to boost it with the a3 head. (I'll ship the car anywhere in the states.) Thankz.
w/ you k24a2 set up w/ simple bolt ons and hondata you'll be able to lay 200hp easy and like almost 40 extra tq. over you k20a3.
Even if you boost you k20a3 your not going to see 200 easily. You'll have to boost like 14psi just to barely make it to 200. Then you'll have to strenghten internals. Then you still have no tq so your just waiting for the turbo to spool.
Stick w/ the K24a2. Its a much better setup for street driving, all the torque and hp is nice and low where you want it. If that gets boring check out Hasport for a blower to put 275 to the street.

rotfl. No. not at all.... not a thing in that post is true.
WITH NO INTERNALS AT 7-10 PSI THE FOLLOWING IS TRUE:
K20A3 + greddy untuned unintercooled turbo kit = 200-240whp.
K20A3 + greddy tuned and intercooled = 250-280whp.
K20A3 + revhard turbo kit = 270 whp.
K20A3 + cybernation turbo kit = 300 whp.
K20A3 + jrsc street supercharger kit = 190 whp
K20A3 + jrsc race supercharger kit = 240 whp.

You've already got the K24A2 frank in your car, keep it that way. I know a guy that would love to boost that. There is a shop here in Georgia that I use, they are not a big national place, but they are really good, and their head mechanic has been trying to get me to do a K24A2 frank to put my JRSC on.
Here is their website ( http://www.lockracewrks.com/index.html ). Call them and ask for Joey and see what he says.
