Default RHD conversion HELP

I would like to start off by sayin I do not want to hear your thought or opinions on this. I do not want to hear people telling me to search cause I have been reading for 4 hours strait on this topic and most of it were flames and useless crap that does not help one bit.

I am looking at getting another eg hatch and buy a JDM front clip with the b16. I want to do the rhd conversion by switching the fire walls. I want to know when I had the jdm firewall welded on the us body, could i just use the japanese brake lines and misc parts, or would some stuff have to be custom.

so if you have anything I need to know about this swap please let me know

thank your for your time and help

specifically what is your question?? seems to me you're looking for a how-to, but a how-to would be pretty involved. once you get started, and run into problems, THEN come ask for help best of luck on your project.

alright bro. that was me who did the DC swap. For the Brakes. My R had ABS as all USDM Rs did. My JDM R did not. I was able to use all the lines from the JDM clip and the2 rear lines from my R fit right up to it, just had to bend them a little bit. The only thing i had trouble with was the slave cylinder. because the lines on the US one goes so far around the engine bay, there is an extension piece that connects 2 long hardlines. Unfortunately they are 2 different sizes (one 12mm, one 10mm) i had to bend the lines all around in the bay to get tthem to fit so i could connect it to the tranny. I think i did an ok Job with the way i made the final product look. you cant even tell now. if you have any other questions, just let me know.

Dont let the haters get you down. it was fun doing it. its fun driving it. its fun seeing peoples reactions. and it gives me a little more pride knowing i could complete a project of this caliber. good luck on it.
