Default new rsx type s

Hey, i just got a blue rsx type s. I'm thinking about getting an exhaust system, but i'm not sure what kinda. Does anyone have any suggestions? What should one of my first investments on my car be?

first investments should be tires. ALWAYS tires. they not only help you in performance but safety as well.

We just finished an EP3 thread, concluding how very careful you have to be when selecting a coilover suspension for the DC5 and EP3.

You're not going to be able to get a cheap suspension for these cars that doesn't introduce a lot of other problems, and I'd definitely not get a cheap height-adjustable suspension for the DC5 or EP3.

The cheapest you're going to get away with, IMHO, is the Mugen SS.

If this is a 2005 Type S, I think you've got an awesome package right out of the box.

I know you really don't want to hear this, but I'd suggest you drive the car for a while and get to know it before you start making changes. At this stage, you really don't know what the car's insufficiencies are, and take it from me, for a McPherson FF car, it does not have many insufficiences at all.

Sorry. I know you really didn't want to hear that but, really, get to know the car first. And that'll give you time to conduct your own research, too.

intake, it's usually the best for an inexpensive/less expensive mod. Cold air for sure though. Then research on what you want. Another good start is Hondata reflash, which reprograms your ecu. It's the best mod for the dollar. Less expensive than a good exhaust, more than a cold air intake. Just rmember, you get what you pay for, so don't go hog wild on cheap ebay stuff, knock-offs mainly.
