H&R Sport Springs? Opinions???
okay so i found a good deal for H&R's 1.8" drop Sport springs for my '91 Integra LS. Shocks on my car are great as of now but I've heard that eventually they will die with stiffer springs. Does anyone have any info on how stiff these springs are compared to stock? Is my car gonna bounce over bumps in the road (ugh)? Any info is much appreciated.
thanx,

Hey, Got the same springs for my car and they are great no complaints! The ride is a little stiffer, not much and the factory struts work fine. Body roll get cut down a bit on the accord, on other cars I don't know though. I have had mine on for two years now and haven't had any probs. I ain't no hard core race pro like some of these guys, but like I said they work great for me. Thats my opion.

you'll need shocks after you get them....
your stock shocks will wear out even faster
the spring rates are very stiff for the race springs

They will cause a lot of accelerated wear to stock shocks. If possible it is great to get better shocks and install them with the springs. I do not think the stocks will last more than 6 months with even Sport springs if you drive aggressively at all, LIKE ME!!
I had H&R sport springs with koni yellows. And I really loved it. The springs were great, wayyyyyyy better than what i had before (tenzo r = crap). The handling was much more predictable, the tires lost traction nice and progressively, and the ride was pretty decent, not too stiff. I now have ground-control sleeves with eibach linear rate springs. they ride harder than the H&R's, but handle quite nicely, and the adjustability is a big plus.
werd...i have heard also that the H&R's springs + koni yellows is a really nice combination. i'm mostly looking for cornering and handling predictability without a really stiff/bumpy ride. the springs are on their way...think i should go ahead and order the koni's or is there something else out there that anyone knows of that's comperable for a lower price?
