Default Which gaskets do I need???? Putting pistons in my b16...

Hello fellew HT members. I am changing pistons in my 2000 Si. I know I need to replace the headgasket, what other gaskets do I need to replace, the motor has 40,000 miles on it. Should I just buy the complete oem headgasket set for $120 and be done with it? Thanks...

don't buy the OE gasket set. it's a rip. they use the more expensive valve seals, and hike up the price. also, they include the 8 grommets on top of the valve cover, which rarely go bad. so just do this..

get the following...
headgasket
intake and exhaust gaskets
cam seals and cam plug
distributor o-ring
valve cover gasket

and if you're gonna do valve seals, get these part numbers..

12210-pz1-004 for intake
12211-pz1-004 for exhaust

they are like $3.00 cheaper EACH than the other part number honda will try and sell you. trust me, i worked at an acura dealer for 3 years.
