Default Breaking in rings...oil concerns, opinions...

Ok Im just replacing my rings in the motor. Nothing else, using same bearings, etc.

question: I have run mobil 1 10w 30 in my car for like 50 k now, but since I am breaking in the new rings, and I have heard to do not use synthetic oil when breakin in rings....

do you think it would be ok to go back to regular oil, for like the first 100 miles, then switch back to mobil?

Just dont know cause I dont want to do any damage to the bearings, I have heard that it is bad to go back from synthetic to regular...

need help!

It is best to use non-syn for break-in to seat. You will be fine switching. And run it for 20 miles and do an oil change again. You will be fine.
