i searched for it in google and everything i found wasn't what i wanted to know! i had a headlight buld blow out and wanted to buy some nice ones this time.
~i want yellow bulbs!! call it rice or what have you, but thats what i want. i can get them, but i need to know weather i'm going to get in trouble for it! does any one know if i'd be ok with them or have some were i can find out?

 

I'm pretty sure your headlights have to be visible from a certain distance. I think in FL it is 200 ft, but it could be greater.

 

i dont know if its legal but i have yellow bulbs in the high and low beams on mine and it looks realy yellow. but yeah i havent gotten pulled over for it yet, and yeah ive passed by lots of cops chp sherruf swat bus( ithink they were to busy to pull me over but still ) but yeah they seem to not care verry much

 

I believe they can be any color b/ red or blue b/c emergency vehicle use those colors.

 

If your headlights are deemed a distraction to other drivers becuase you modified them you will get cited

it's totally besides the point, if your car is a hazard to either you or other drivers by being a distraction it's against the law

yellow headlights are f'n useless anyway so why would you want them

i did the 9005 conversion... very bright. i love it!
the bulbs i'm gonna get are YELLOW as hell from what i understand. i'm told they look like the lexus fogg lights. kinda like the old matrix yellow ones.

how about all you *******, send an email to the state police, they should know, and you should keep it for you records

 

^^^^good idea, or maybe even take a trip to the station and ask if the e-mail doesnt work! but i think the e-mail thing would be best so if they say its ok then you get busted you have proof to get you out of it
